New vinyl fabrics

There was a huge hiccup last week and the Little Twin Stars that I ordered did not arrive.
Thank goodness, there was another Little Twin Stars (Vlts02) that was very lovely and many mummies like it too.
I dont blame them!
In fact, I love it so much I am going to keep a portion of it to myself.
Here are some of the items sewn with it.

Another new tote bag in vinyl

It looked simple. But I spent almost one and half day on this bag before I am happy with the end product. I almost pulled my hair out.... ;-p
The buyer is very pleased and excited with her new tote. hehe That makes me a happier person to know my effort didnt goes to waste.

My own vinyl tote bag

I made one tote bag for myself using the vinyl fabric.
It didnt turned out as nice as I expected. There were some issues with the seams using the vinyl fabric as base. I wonder why.......
Still have to further improve on the sewing part.

Embroidery

Something that I do when not in a rush.

Disney fabrics

I am in love with Disney since young and its no wonder that this is reflected in my choice of fabrics.
Here are some of the products.

More Iphone pouches!

Yup, more Iphone pouches!
There is two types of closure now with either slip-in or velcro closure.
Item is fully padded to protect the phone and provides a snug fit too.
Lastly, to make it even more user friendly, there is an additional slot in the front of the pouch to place items such as Ezlink card or ear phones.

My first Iphone pouch

Yup, I have also jumped onto the bandwagon and gotten an IPhone too.

Made a padded pouch for it using one of my favorite fabric and adopted a slip-in type. This is perfect for me as I am constantly taking it in and out of the pouch to play games! Now I need not fear of scratches or accidentally pressing on the "Home" button. :-p

I am officially an addict to IPhone now...

My lonely booth in Vivo City - Toy Outpost

A very outdated post.
My little cubicle in Toy Outpost. It has been there for quite some time but I didnt have the chance to update the items in it as I was too tied up with all the Xmas orders.

First minky blanket project!

This is my first attempt in sewing a big piece of minky blanket using Little Twin Stars fabric.

Its very soft and cuddly! Little Sugar kept pointing and telling me she want to hug it. In the end, I have to put the sewing on hold and waited till my hb is home before I can begin.

Will sew one for her once all orders is rushed out. :-)
hmmm..... Which fabric should I use?

Tote bags - An essential item

Received a customized order for a tote bag with no zip or button closure. It was my first attempt and I "bravely" accepted the order. :-p
Read a few tutorials, sewing tips and examine my own tote bag, I slowly fumbled my way to complete it.
My first tote took me almost a whole day just to get it right. However, the end product was endearing and even my husband took a second glance of it. hehe

To date, I have sew about five tote bags and took lesser time for it now. If there is no disturbance, I can complete about two bags in an evening. However, I prefer not to rush for this style due to its meticulous steps.

I am making one for myself too with a matching wetbag... Will post it as soon as it is completed.

Vinyl boxy pouch

Another customized order by a very jovial mummy who wanted a pouch to goes along with her changing mat.
We thought of having a pouch that can squeeze in one and a half pack of travel wipes (never run out of wipes again!) and not to take up excess space in the diaper bag when not in use. That's how this idea came up!
No more fears of placing the pouch on wet or soiled areas. ^_^

Still around......

It has been a hectic week for me last week. Not the projects. Is my girl.

She has fallen sick. Real bad. First is feeling feverish for at least three days. Soon flu caught up and the nose was practically dripping non stop. Lastly, cough came along...
sigh........

She refuse to eat and even when she does, her appetite has been poor. :-( This is her first time acting this way. Even in the past, it has never happened before. I was literally at my wits end on thinking what to cook for her.

At times, I admit I have been a bad mum when I lose my patience and started to get frustrated with her and her tantrums.
After calming my nerves and thinking that she didnt want it this way either, I started to feel guilty and gave her all the attention she needs again.

Nothing is more important then seeing the little cheerful girl back again.

All I wanted to
