Little Twin Stars handphone pouch

Made this according to a request from a customer who wanted a padded pouch for her N97. This is my first time making a phone pouch and I am quite pleased with it. Except that the final sizing came out much smaller then expected.

Its a good try and I think I will make one for myself too!

Coin & card purse

A customer wanted something simple for a coin purse using Sanrio fabric. Thus, I have modified the idea slightly and came up with this small purse for small change or cards.

Truffle series (Wrist clutch)

Simple yet fun clutch that can be used as a wrist pouch or even a cosmetic bag. Its able to fit in a wallet, handphone, lipstick and the possibilities are endless! Made of 100% cotton and interior comes with a sewn-on pocket. There will be two coordinating tones of fabrics for each pouch design.

Enjoying my ME time

I am in such a good mood today and everything seems right. Since little Sugar was not at home during noon, I sneak out to do a little shopping. Went into Cheers to get something to drink but ended up buying a tub of Ben & Jerry ice cream home. I couldnt resist as it contains my favourite Irish cream liqueur in it.
I lay on my bed, listening to the radio, surfing and eating ice cream on bed (such a sin!). But it feels so good! I should have more of such ME time. :-)
Suddenly, I feel that I am back to my school days and just bumming around.
I miss being young!

Ever since I started to make my interest into a little business, it has kept me more busy and fulfilling. At the same time, I get to know more mummies and share some interesting knowledge about our toddlers.

However, what really makes my day was to receive emails telling me how much they like their items. I really appreciate the words of encouragement and that spur me to keep my interest going!

Things that I need and wish to do...

House cleaning - I am going to do a major house cleaning today! I remember when I first moved in, the house is always kept clean and tidy. Now with the little girl around, I am following her butt and picking up all the things that she threw on the floor. I feel like I am a human vacuum cleaner. haha

New receipes - I am also trying to come out with more new recipes for my little girl. Its kinda boring to be always eating fish and chicken mixed with different kind of veggies. Aside from porridge, what else? Bee Hoon? Let me ponder..

Taking photographs - I should also take the opportunity to brush up my photography skills.

More beauty sleep - Something that I no longer have the luxury to enjoy. But I have to as my dark circles is getting more and more obvious lately. (duh... blogging at 2+am dont seem to convincing)

DHA capsules - My memory is failing me. :-( Looks like a pregnancy at least consume half my brain away.





Oh!!! She loves her Yakult to bits! Whenever I take it out from the fridge, she will be happily following me everywhere and giving me signals to let her drink it. Now she can hold the bottle and finish it up in less then 5 mins. After that she will be still holding on to the empty bottle and prance around the house to show everyone she finished her Yakult. Cheeky!!

Bonbon bag first outdoor trip

I showed Vivi a picture of the Bonbon bag on the other night when I first completed it. She was equally excited and cant wait to view the real thing.
On Sunday, I brought Little Twin Stars Bonbon out and Vivi snatched it over even before I sat down. hehe
She loves it and order one to be sewn and completed by next week. (Oooo... Demanding customer ) :-p

The first two Little Twin Stars & Kitty fabric is the latest addtion for Sanrio's summer 09 collection. Personally, I am very excited and fell in love with this new LTS textile. Its pastel pink background along with Kiki and Lala in the teacup, is simply adorable!!! It wasnt easy to source for this and the shipment fees is *faint*.

I just couldnt think of any project to put this into good use. After all, big prints fabric have to find a suitable project to bring out its best.

I am soooo in love with my new product which was produce "in memory" of my beloved bag for the last ten years.

It has been my first bag that I went clubbing with and been through my highs and lows in life.

I have no choice but to bury it as its way too tattered and old. :-(

Long weekend. Sad mood.

Its a long weekend and plans have already been laid out on what to do. Now things change and I am in a very depressing mood. This is not good for such a joyus occasion.

Meanwhile, I can use this opportunity to rush out as many orders as possible and hopefully to get at least 80% out on Tues. :-)
I will let myself be accompanied by my little girl and sewing machine during this long weekend.

Neglect

I have been neglecting my blog lately just as a lot of things that I should pay more attention to. When ppl said time flies, I believe that is true. Looking at my parents and grandma, it dawned on me how much they have aged.
I still remember the days when I was young and often stayed over at my grandma's place, running down to the playground and sneaking over to the Mama's shop to buy ice stick. Now that she is so old, I have not been visiting her as much as I should. All she wants is a little attention from us.
Is our hectic city lifestyle depriving us of the time?
Maybe we should slow down a bit and smell the roses along the way.

Fireworks!

I am sooo looking forward on a whole family outing during this national day. Most impt, I can show my little girl what is fireworks! Just thinking about it brings me excitement to my otherwise auntie-mummy life. ^_^

Xmas and other new fabrics

I decided for a long time before placing order for this style. Afraid that it may not turn out as pastel as it seems (which always happen).
When I saw the fabric, I am so happy with it and can only think of spring. :-)
