My Melody tote in vinyl

This item was meant to be completed before CNY. But I was really tied and thankfully the mummy is very understanding to let me finished it after CNY.
I made some errors along the way such as the "opened" seams and I have no idea how that happened. Luckily, that I realized in time before mailing it out. ^_^

Some embroidery projects

I love cute things but I also love edgier designs too. Afterall, there is still an adult in me.

It is always much easier to source for cute embroidery designs but I still love to have some alternative to it too. I chanced upon some really intricate damask design which I have been searching for quite a while. Imagine my excitement!

Once I started embroidering it, I thought it will be done within half an hour. End up, just the design alone took 45min to be completed. Thats really time consuming and this is not inclusive of the time that I will spend sewing it into a wristlet. :-(

Mumbles

Did u enjoy urself during the super long and HOT weekend?

I did!

We didnt do much just the whole family cuddle together and take nice long naps in the noon. We didnt even want to step out of the house till evening!

Had been very tired before CNY with all the rushing. The chance to just relax and grow spiderwebs seems like a luxury :-p

Little Sugar's footprints @ East Coast Park

Some mummies have been real curious to know how my girl looks like and wants her to model some of the items here. ^_^ Actually, I did thought of that and it will be easier too to showcase how the item looks like in "real" life.

However, the internet is a scary place and I really dunno who will be viewing her photos and using it for other means.

Happy Chinese New Year!!

It's the Tigger year! Another year ...... Busy with spring cleaning and buying things. When I was young, I can never understand how come my mum is always complaining about new year. After all, there is food and ang baos to take.
Now?!
My turn to go through the "phase" and I can fully understand her she felt back then.
Oh well.....

Little Sugar's playgroup is having a mini CNY celebration today and was told to dress in qipao. But I decided not to buy as there wasnt much chance to wear it at all.
Great, where am I going to buy a qipao within such a short notice?!!

So last nite, I rushed thru the nite and came out with this top and bottom using the very-Chi-na fabric. Could have done more if I have more time.
Not sure how the others may feel, but I think the fabric is really cute!

New vinyl fabrics

There was a huge hiccup last week and the Little Twin Stars that I ordered did not arrive.
Thank goodness, there was another Little Twin Stars (Vlts02) that was very lovely and many mummies like it too.
I dont blame them!
In fact, I love it so much I am going to keep a portion of it to myself.

Another new tote bag in vinyl

It looked simple. But I spent almost one and half day on this bag before I am happy with the end product. I almost pulled my hair out.... ;-p
The buyer is very pleased and excited with her new tote. hehe That makes me a happier person to know my effort didnt goes to waste.
